God speaks! He speaks to His people in many ways. He speaks through prophecy, vision, dreams, prophetic words, wise counsel, conviction, insight, and more. The most common way God speaks, at least to me, is through His Word, the Bible.
On multiple occasions Jesus told His audience, “He who has ears, let him hear.” He meant that what He was saying took discernment. The people needed to pay attention so that God could open their ears so they could understand. When we read the Bible with a humble and obedient attitude, God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit illuminating the scriptures for us.
I invite you to look at the scriptures with me. Let’s delve into God’s Word together with open hearts so that God can open our ears to discern what He is saying. Then let us put it into practice.
